Case Study: 

Kent Peg Tiles

 

Scaffolding with a temporary roof was erected this was for main roof works to be carried out to stop any internal water ingress. 

 

Re- Roof works comprised of Kent peg tiles, oak timber repairs, these were carried out to conservation guide lines. Insulation was laid to all areas of the roof to bring it up to a 'U' value before felt and battening. Chimney stack repairs were carried out, then Kent peg tiles were reinstated and to make the shortfall with matching reclaimed Kent Peg tiles. All lead box gutters and flashings were replaced. New cast iron gutter and downpipe were formed to compliment the new roof.
